Our summer is filled to the brim with lots
of parties and activities,
friends and family from far and near.
This "hectivity" makes the quiet moments
all the more precious.
A warm afternoon is perfect for
sipping an iced tea on the back deck,
listening to the birdsong
and the buzz of the bumble bees,
while leisurely waiting for
laundry to dry.
Ahh, summer!

Enjoy your quiet moments as I know how much you cherish them. AD4 graduates next Wednesday and my MIL is coming out for the week from Jersey, but after that when things calm down a bit, let's make a chat date! We need to catch up!
