My little graduate has been very slow with sharing her graduation photos and hence the delay in posting our graduation festivities until today. Hey, she needs a break!
I was not too sure what to expect from such a large University but they handled the entire day with the grace and beauty befitting such an auspicious occasion.

Our "little" one is about to fly the coup! Whether she is off to the Peace Corps or her dream job, her life's adventure is taking a new twist and I can hardly wait to read the installments! Her entire life lies ahead of her. Risks and adventures, mistakes and accomplishments. Everything is new and exciting. I remember those days. Waking up in the morning thinking, "I wonder what will happen to me today?" I pray for only good things but I am enough of a realist to know there will be disappointments and heart breaks too. But for right now, we are just having fun thinking about the future, reminiscing about the past and toasting our first college graduate. She has always been the apple of our eye!
Congratulations to the entire family on this!!! How amazing. I can remember the day I graduated like it was yesterday. For me, there was a little drinking @ 9AM before the ceremonies though...remember, I wasn't as mature and responsible as I am now @ age 41. Regardless, I'm sure it was a very emotional day for you and cannot imagine the pride that you have for your little girl.

That photo must make your heart swoon.
I trust you basked in the day and the accomplishments it represented for Alex AND her parents. Now, life really gets interesting! :-)
