Oh, ha, and ow. If I sang songs repeatedly to my daughter, she'd definitely grow up to have this reaction, since I cannot sing. At. All. It's a well-known factoid around here. But as for the Stones song? Thumbs up. And good use in The Big Chill, too.

yes Kablooey, I too cannot sing but I have fun singing anyway! And dancing....much to my family's chagrin. But my singing gifts were not the reason she hated the song. It was the way I launched into it everytime she "wanted" something she didn't "need" that irritated her. Like I said; same incident, different point of view!

Yes! Too funny. Or, alternatively, one recalls a memory with crystal clarity, and the other one is like "huh?" :-)
