Last week we celebrated Stevie and Victoria's graduation with a double party extravaganza. Even our flower pots proudly displayed the Notre Dame blue and gold as we welcomed a "changing of the guard". Well over 100 people attended with about 40 young adults spending the night. This week we are gearing up for lots of company for our celebration of the 4th of July. I have been staying grounded in the present as each of these touchstones approach, commence and then recede into beautiful memories. Summer's languid moments of lazy splendor are short lived in the midwest and I am doing my best to enjoy each and every one. That leaves lots less time for the computer and even art and journaling, but these precious summer days move into immediate focus as the warm breeze gently begs for my attention.
Double congratulations (triple if I count your remembering to savor every moment.)
